APP Crashes after newest update was installed today (9/16/2019) for iOS

When I select the Fitbit app icon, nothing happens.  I double click the home button, and the screen Fitbit main screen is there, although minimized, I select it and it disappears.  Go back to APP icon and select it again - same thing - I use this APP to log everything!!!  Help!

I am having problems too. When I tap on icon, it opens to a blank page and then appears to close (it goes back to the tile on the screen- with all other app tiles. It is however still ‘running ‘ in the background & using battery life. I have deleted app and reinstalled AFTER clearing my cache. I have checked & rechecked that my email address is correct. I enter my entire day here & need it fixed quickly.

Uninstall and fresh install solved this problem.

I uninstalled and reinstalled and now my phone can’t locate my Fitbit. It says no device found. Grrrrrr.

@Dmv59 if it keeps on doing that it would be worth trying the normal fixes for connection problems:
