Active Minutes / Exercise Tracking not syncing correctly

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

This morning when I was done working out on my elliptical I went to log the workout and

1. It’s not syncing the calories burned, HR, etc and 2. My home screen is showing double active minutes (like the Fitbit recorded the active minutes and then when I logged the workout manually it logged them again). Anyone else having this problem? I’ve tried logging out, restarting my phone a couple times, but it’s still messed up. Thanks l!

I’m having the same issue. It actually places the workout about 5 hours later in the day And has been all week. In fact when I go back and look at last weeks, all the sync data is missing from them as well. This started Sunday or Monday. Can’t tell if it’s an app issue or backend server issue but I’ve killed the app, logged out and also restarted the phone to no avail. Also appears to happen in Sleep tracking as well - about 5 hours off...

For me this started yesterday.  Usually I get a map that shows my route with all data (split times, calories, steps, active minutes) listed below.

Now I get the data in one activity entry, where the data, duration and time of day are correct and I get a second entry with the map of my route, and the Calories section  says null, 'Not Enough Data Available' and the time of the exercise is shown as almost 7 hours later.

I have restarted the Ionic and no help.  I removed the Ionic, restarted the iPhone 8 and reinstalled the Ionic and that didn't help either.

Same thing started happening for me yesterday. I logged a workout at 5pm, but it was placed 8hrs later. The log time in the app  says 5pm, but if I look at my dashboard on Fitbit.com it says the logged time was 1am. The app shows the active minutes for the workout at 1am as well.

I just called support regarding this issue.  They're telling me the iOS update on my iPhone8 put the Fitbit device firmware out of synch with the iOS update.  They told me they'll have a new firmware update for my device within 48 hours, so we'll see...
