Active hours between 1800.(6p) and 0600 (6a)

I have noticed in this forum that there are a good number of posts to all people who are awake overnight to be able to track active hours overnight.  For example I am now working from 1800 (6p) to 0600 (6a).  The app does not- at least from what I’ve found- allow those hours to be tracked.  One can Only track activity during a day starting at midnight- Fitbit does not seem to allow for people to be active starting in the evening and ending in the morning.

I have noticed that a “Fix” for this has been requested for at least the last 3 years.  Is there any update? Is this being looked at? Or does Fitbit just not accept that Nurses, EMTs, Paramedics, Police Officers, and millions of others  work “overnights” and our day starts in the afternoon or evening and ends in the morning?

For any user that has not, be sure to support this suggestion about having the option to get a night shift setting. While it is listed as Not Currently Planned, you can still vote for that idea. If you have any questions on how the board works, be sure to read the FAQ.

Let me know if you have any further questions.
