Greetings, it seems things have changed with how to add an exercise to the app. I am on an Apple iPhone Pro and have iOS 13.1.3. I am looking to add spinning to my Fitbit Ionic app. When I go under my account, the following headers exist: 1) Goals; 2) Discover; 3) Subscriptions; 4) Privacy and Security; 5) Settings. I looked under Settings; Exercise Tracking; however that only is the notification to add cues. Under Goals; Exercise this seems to be the best spot as it shows Auto Recognized Exercises (including walk/run/outdoor bike/etc.); I can take one off (the highlight disappears); however there is no button in the upper right hand corner like it used to be displaying how to add a workout (looking for spinning). Thanks in advance for the help!

@chitown312 You say you want to add Spinning to the phone app. To get the most from your Ionic, you should add Spinning to your Exercise Shortcuts and use the Exercise App on your Ionic. From your app dashboard tap on your profile picture > tap on your Ionic > scroll down to Exercise Shortcuts. If your Ionic is fully loaded, you will need to tap on the Edit, then remove an exercise you don't use. Now the + Exercise Shortcut is active and you can add spinning. After you sync your tracker, you can choose spinning from the Exercise App on your Ionic. Start/stop you spin workout from the Ionic, not the Fitbit app.
The run/walk/hike option you found is a feature called MobileRun. That's another story.

Hello and welcome to the Fitbit Community @chitown312
I understand you’re wanting to add spinning as an exercise. Let’s first place the exercise tile on your main page. Here’s how:
open your Fitbit App
tap the word “Discover” on the bottom left corner f your screen
now tap “Health and Fitness Stats
look for the tile with the word exercise and tap it
now scroll to the bottom and tap “Add to Today”
** This will pop you back to the main page of the Fitbit App. Scroll through the the list where all your current challenges are at and you will now see the exercise tile there on the main page.
Naw that you found the tile on your main page tap the exercise tile in the middle (not on the plus sign)
now tap the “stop watch” icon in the upper right corner
tap “log” at the top right of the screen
type spinning in the search bar to add spinning to your exercise
😃 please let me know if this answers your question. If this does indeed answer your question could you please tap the “choose as best” box under my post? Doing so really helps other individuals who come to this community looking for answers to questions similar to your own I’d really appreciate it!

Hello again @chitown312
On the exercise tile, once you tap the center of it you will see a stopwatch icon on the upper right. You just tap that Stopwatch icon and it open up a page that says “Track” and “Log” at the top. Just tap “log”. Once log opens up you will see the run, walk and hike as you mentioned. Just above that is a search bar where you can type in the word “Spinning”. Just start typing the word spinning and you will see it appear in the choices below the search area.
😃 hopefully I was able to explain it better. Please let me know how it goes.
