Adding new Fitbit

I have just received a new Fitbit charge 2 as a birthday present but when trying to add it I am receiving a “you have no signal” and won’t let me procee anywhere - any advice please?

Hi @Karencamplin. Congratulations on your new Fitbit! Let’s see if we can get it working for you. Here are a couple questions to start the trouble shooting process:

 

  1. Which iPhone do you have? Is it set up to connect to wifi? If yes, how strong is your signal? 
  2. If your iPhone is not connected to wifi, then on your phone, go into your iPhone Settings —> Cellular. Scroll down to Fitbit and slide the setting to green (on). 

Try again to connect, going into the Fitbit app —> Account —> Set Up a Device. Let us know what happens.
