Hi there @SamuelS, welcome aboard to our Community. In either case @Kmransom123, the device still is compatible, but its possible is being affected, as you said, that the latest app require a higher version of the iOS firmware. In this case it might present issues.
Nonetheless @SamuelS, I recommend to unistall and re install the app and try again. Note that the latest version of the Fitbit app is 2.28, so try to install this versions otherwise the app store will let you know that it will install the most compatible version.
If this is the case and the issue persists, try to pair your tracker with a computer or different mobile device. Keep in mind that once your tracker has been paired to your account, is not require to repeat the process. Is just matter to the same account you have been using across your devices.
