All day sync not working with Fitbit Versa

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Before I start, both my versa and iPhone 8 software are both up to date.

For the last 2 months or so I’ve noticed that my Fitbit doesn’t always record my steps and sleep and activity minutes when I’m using all day sync. I regularly check my steps throughout the day on my versa but don’t always look at the Fitbit app on my phone for the rest on a regular basis. Then I get my weekly report and find I’ve only gotten credit for 2 days.

Every time I manually sync it all the info shows up ( just too late for the email that goes out) and for the next day or two all day sync works great. Then it completely stops again. Why have that feature at all if I have to keep manually syncing it every other day to keep it current?

Hello @Tanathi, welcome to the Community Forums!

I appreciate the details that were shared in your post. If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check how the syncing procedure works here and see if there's a missing requirement on your iOS mobile device that's preventing the All-day sync procedure to be completed. Also, you can move forward to the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: Why won't my Fitbit device sync? and let me know how it goes.

Keep me posted.

My fitbit versa 2 is not working properly either. First I was having the same issue where I had to manually sync so I tried everything to troubleshoot. I have reset it to factory settings and it has successfully synced to my phone and I'm getting notifications but the app isn't linking to my tracker. So no heart rate, steps sleep nothing a fitbit is supposed to be good for. This is a fitbit problem not a phone problem. Also it keeps asking permission to turn on bluetooth even though I've enabled all day sync and my phone already recognizes it. It's the app itself that's not working properly.
