All steps not syncing to Challenge

Hello

I just completed a workweek hustle challenge and noticed a discrepancy of 3,000+ steps between my actual M-F total and my challenge total. Those steps take me from 1st to 4th place. So you know these are all steps from my FitBit Charge HR and none are manually entered. The time zone isn't the issue. I've tried restarting my phone, the app, deleting and reinstalling the app, resetting my HR, turning Bluetooth off and on, and removing and reinstalling the device to my app to no avail. No be else in the challenge group seems to be having this issue. Last week there was a discrepancy between the steps on my Fitbit and what synced to my phone at the end of the day. It very frustrating. Please advise.

Hey my friend @ArikaDawn, welcome to the Community Smiley Very Happy! By any chance, did you sync frequently? And of course, before midnight? 

 

It seems that you've checked everything to make sure that your steps have been updated as they should. However, I'd recommend getting in touch with Support so they can take a look at the internal system and see where the issue is coming from.

I'm currently having the same issue right now....and I'm not happy about it. We are a competitive group and have been doing this challenge week in and week out. And now it's not being accurate. Very frustrating

I was syncing at least once daily and typically before midnight.

Have you had any luck getting it resolved? I'm contacting support now. Is anyone else in your group having issues?

Nothing so far 😕 I think there is a firmware issue going on because my moms Fitbit is not finding her tracker and it's fully charged

What a drag! My group isn't terribly competitive, but no one ever does challenges so I was super bummed to have one of the only challenges I've done get messed up.

It is a drag! Either way. My group is super competitive so it's quite a bummer. But I have a feeling there are some kinks to be worked out within the new Fitbit update

Has anybody located a fix for this issue yet? My challenge group is super competitive too and as the prime motivator it doesn't look good now that I've dropped out of 1st because all my steps are not syncing on the challenges. Last week for the workweek hustle it shorted me over 4k steps. This weekend on the weekend warrior it shorted me over 2k 😞

This is still happening for me! Mine syncs to my Dashboard, but not my challenges. The advice from Fitbit? Make sure you're wearing your Fitbit. Man Sad Not helpful at all and still no resolution!

I'm having the same problem and reported to fitbit. They are looking into, but have no resolution at this time. 4/15/2016

I'd recommend re-pairing your tracker to your account using the replacement setup process. Click here for instructions.

Hi all!! I feel your pain as I'm in a competitive group too. Lost yesterday's challenge because it was of 4K steps. Very frustrating and Fitbit really can't help.....geez
