Alta HR - Heart Rate not updating on iphone

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

As of about a week ago, the heart rate is no longer recording on the Fitbit app on my iphone 6S.  It shows up on the Fitbit itself, and on the dashboard, but not on the phone app.  Any ideas why?

Do you mean you are getting two dashes for a heart rate?

Or the heart rate tile is no longer there?

If it is the first, there was a report of one of the later iOS versions having a conflict with the Fitbit app causing that. I have delayed upgrading iOS for that reason. Just in case that is not the issue, try resetting the device - Plug it in as if you were charging it. After it vibrates, press the button on the USB end of the cable three times within four seconds with a definite pause between the presses. The Fitbit logo will appear. Don't worry if more information appears afterwards. Perform the reset procedure a total of three times before removing the device from the cable. What I have coined the "Triple Ripple" seems to be the preferred method for resets and will not harm the device.

If it is the second, scroll down to the bottom of the dashboard and press the "Edit" button. All of the tiles should start "jiggling". Find the heart rate tile - it should have a red plus-sign in the corner. Press the plus-sign and it will turn to an "x". Scroll back to the bottom and press "Done". You should be good to go.

Good luck - and welcome to the boards.
