Alta Text Notification stopped working

I got my Fitbit Alta not even 48 hours ago and the text notifications stopped working. I have my Bluetooth on, I have sync all day on, but the refreshing circle thing keeps on going. I've tried restarted it but it still doesn't work. this sucks

Let me help you out, when you're doing the restart make sure you're following the steps that @CindyFitbit shared. Try the following troubleshooting steps: 

 

  1. On your mobile device, go to Settings > Bluetooth.
  2. Turn off Bluetooth, wait 10 seconds, and then turn it back on.
  3. Reboot your mobile device.
