Alta is draining the battery on my iPhone.

I use a Bluetooth earbud for work, but my Fitbit is connecting too which sucks the life out of my iPhone battery. Other than “forget this device” can I stop the Fitbit from connections while using my earbud? 😢

Hello @arcticbabe2006, have a warm welcome to the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board. Smiley Happy

This seems like a very odd situation, Fitbit trackers only sync and make use of the Bluetooth on your device when you open the Fitbit app. This issue might be happening if you have enabled All-Day Sync in the app. To check on this please open the Fitbit app and tap on Account > Alta and scroll down until you see All-Day Sync. If it's enabled, please disable it.

I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and keep me posted in case you need anything else. Smiley Wink

Thanks Marco! The all-day sync was enabled. I’ll know tomrrow if this was the fix and let you know. Thanks again so much

Guess I shouldn’t be marked this as solved because upon turning on my Bluetooth for my music earbud the Alta is on synced and won’t turn off😢

Hello @arcticbabe2006, I hope you're doing well, thanks for taking the time to reply. Smiley Happy

If the Alta keep syncing when you turn on Bluetooth, please make sure the Fitbit app is closed and not running on the background. To check this, tap twice on the home button on your phone, all the current open apps will show up, if you see the Fitbit app, swipe it up to force-close it. If you have turned off All-day Sync the tracker should not start syncing if the app is closed.

I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and let me know the outcome.
