Alta not synching with iphone7

My fit bit was synching fine with my phone two days ago but now my iphone7 can't even find my fit bit to sync. I've deleted and added the Fitbit device but it can't find it all anymore. Is there a problem or after 3 months my Fitbit just won't sync and more 😡

First thing to try when a fitbit misbehaves is a restart using the following procedure:

It does no harm and can sort out all sorts of issues. You might need to give it a few tries though as it's known to not always work.
