Alta not syncing to my iphone5s.

My iphone5s tells me that the Alta is connected to the Bluetooth but when I go to the app it tells me it doesn't sync and to try again. I have rebooted phone, reinstalled app, took off my Fitbit one. I tried tech support chat he said he would toward me on to some higher up tech support, I haven't heard a thing. Getting very frustrated, about ready to return it to Best Buy.

Thank you for joining the Fitbit Community @ddae. I wanted to stop by and verify if you are still having syncing issues with your tracker? If you are, have you checked that your tracker and mobile device are fully charged? Have you tried unpairing and pairing the tracker again?

I finally got it to work on my iPhone last after several times of uninstalling app, Alta, Bluetooth on off,etc. Yes I did read on one of the post to have it fully charged and I did do that. I just hope that this doesn't become a problem when the Alta's battery becomes low. I still cannot get it to sync to my iPad but I guess one out of two will be good for now.
