As the title says my Fitbit app will not properly sync and constantly crashes while using the IOS 14 beta. Does anyone know any fixes or will we just have to wait until an update?

I am really hoping there is someone out there experiencing the same issue I have been going through for almost a month now...
I downloaded the consumer beta version of iOS 14 to my iPhone XR in early July, 2020. The first beta version for consumers was Beta 2. Beta 2 didn’t change my experience with FitBit. BUT, right after downloading Beta 3 of iOS 14 on July 23, 2020, My Mobile Track will no longer pull in any of my health and activity data from my device. My MobileTrack icon only says “Syncing” forever and never goes away, in addition to “Not synced yet”. I have tried everything I can think of. Turning my
phone off, closing all Apps, turning off and back on the app permissions for FitBit in my settings, and nothing. I have no data in FitBit from iOS 14 beta 3 and beyond (now on Beta 4). FitBit no longer has my data because it will not sync with my Apple activity data, but my activity data shows up in the Apple Health app. I’ve already provided feedback to Apple and no one seems to share this issue. I didn’t notice i wasn’t getting my data synced at first, but when i checked my step counts on the dates I should’ve had in FitBit, they showed “0 steps” starting on July 23, when i downloaded Beta 3. I don’t understand what to do. I don’t know if Fitbit needs to release an update that works with iOS 14? I have searched the web up and down and found nothing.
If anyone anywhere could please provide any advice or suggestions, I would greatly appreciate it.

Hi @Fancypup, @Colek09 and @bmccool27. A warm welcome to the Community Forums.
Thanks for bringing this to my attention, as well for every step that you've tried prior posting. I'm sorry that the Fitbit app isn't working correctly after updating to iOS 14 beta. To work on this together, I'd recommend to give one last try to the following steps in the given order:
If the issue persists and if you've not done so, please provide me with your phone's model and the Fitbit app version which can be found in the Fitbit app > Profile picture > Help.
By the way, I've moved your posts to this new thread so you can have more chances to receive help from the Community.

Hello, @LizzyFitbit! Thank you for taking the time to reply with a possible solution. As per this post >3 years ago, I did try the exact method you suggested based on similar behaviors from MobileTrack/FitBit/iOS
I can’t think of anything else to try. I do pretty well with troubleshooting issues siimilar to these, but this problem has me completely stumped. In addition to the method from this old thread, I also erased MobileTrack, Logged out of FitBit, force closed my app, restarted my phone, then logged back in, added MobileTrack again, and still nothing. My past 20something days of data still have not/will not sync. It acts as if it will saying “Syncing” but also says “Not synced yet” it won’t do anything.
My phone model is an iPhone Xr (MT382LL/A) running on iOS 14 - beta 4, and FitBit app version 3.27 (984), which should be the latest. I try to check for updates daily. Thank you so much for the help again, please let me know if you have any other feedback!

Hi
I have same issue. iPhone 8 installed latest iOS this week and now my Bluetooth keeps going from Connected to Not Connected constantly on my Versa. I have reinstalled everything and forget this device on the Bluetooth, I have re paired my watch with the app and deleted the app etc etc several times in the past few days.
Still not working 100% and wont sync as soon as the Bluetooth is saying Not Connected. Only thing that seems to help to have the Bluetooth stay connected for a longer time is to swipe away the app as soon as you have synced it. But it is a lot of messing about and my watch goes out of sync on the time on in when its not been connected for a while
Hopefully we will have an app udpate very soon that can fix these issues

Hello @LizzyFitbit, I have went through the troubleshooting process and still isn’t working. The Fitbit will successfully sync maybe a few times a day but other than those few times the Fitbit does not stay updated. I have an iPhone 11 with the latest Fitbit update.

Can you confirm yet if there is an issue with iOS 14 and your app? Similar to what has been mentioned, I have not been able to get the app to track steps since the iOS 14 update - is there a workaround other than rolling back to the previous iOS version or has anyone at Fitbit tested the latest app version successfully with iOS 14?

No fix yet. I think you are going to have to roll back to iOS 13 or wait until iOS 14 releases and Fitbit updates.

Hello sorry for the delayed response
i have exhausted the list for trouble shooting. I even removed the versa from the app and now it won’t reconnect at all.
I have an iPhone 11 with the ios14 beta 8. The Fitbit app version is 3.29 (988).

Same.
I use clock face called Glance to track my son's diabetes and it's not syncing the data.

Same issues with mine. I’m just about done with Fitbit and ready to buy an Apple Watch.

I wanted to confirm if this issue is officially filed with the development team and if this is the right thread to follow for updates. I’m also impacted and had to dig through drawers to find my PC dongle to sync until this is fixed. As others have said, this is now a real bug outside the iOS 14 beta, as I’m using the actual iOS release.
For your further details, I’m on an iPhone XS with a Fitbit Alta HR. App is up to date with the latest version.
