As the title says my Fitbit app will not properly sync and constantly crashes while using the IOS 14 beta. Does anyone know any fixes or will we just have to wait until an update?

14.01 is not the latest update 14.1 is the culprit.

I installed 14.1 last night and now my iPad doesn’t seem to see my Fitbit. Does anyone know if there is a resolution for this?

Very much a problem in 14.1 too. Since upgrading, I had trouble syncing yesterday - deleting and adding the device fixed it temporarily, but overnight I've lost sync. I've lost sleep stats as well. Do we have an ETA for a fix? Looks like the Bluetooth stack has changed slightly in 14.1

There is a Fitbit update on the app store which fixes the issue. I'm back and I'm syncing on iOS14.1

Still won’t work for me struggle to sync/pair and if I do succeed does not last. No sleep stats no resting heartbeat, doesn’t keep time. Have tried all actions to fit but no success. Feels like firmware needs refreshing

Hi.
this seems to have worked. However, just when I thought all was well. The sleep tracking is not working properly. I am very rarely getting a seep score now. This was working perfectly until now. Very frustrating for a watch that is not that cheap.

I had a similar issue just prior to the last firmware update. One thing that I noticed is that although when pairing it requested permission to location services the location services does not show under iPhone settings. My problems seem to occur around iOS updates. Would be good if you could do a firmware refresh/reflash to see if that helps

It is crazy that Fitbit does not have a permanent fix to make sure it can sync with iPhones.

You can delete your device and add it again. It syncs ( and you lose all stats since last sync). Then disconnects again. Update does not help at all.

Sane fir me. This Ionic is just a waste of money. Worst if all Fitbit don’t seem to be doing anything to sort this mess. Apple Watch for me next.

It is now mid-November and this is still an issue. Just by checking the dates of these posts, they have had weeks to fix this issue. I done everything...even deleted the apps and repaired everything and nothing. I’m so disappointed. They should be on these issues...

I realised that I was still within my 2 yr warranty and having spoken to a very thorough agent in the technical department a new pebble is on the way. Hopefully that will resolve the issue. Will post to confirm

Hi. I appreciate your efforts but I think Fitbit need to do more to stop all these negative comments on what was once a good product. Clearly there is a serious problem in producing a firmware version that works with IOS 14 +. I am now getting the message Lost Bluetooth Pairing and can’t get it to re pair! Starting to think the problem might be with the iPhone 11 as can still sync with iPad

Also getting Bluetooth Pairing Failed even though devices are next to each other. Now you n a never ending spiral of getting this watch up and running again
