App crashes while tracking activity

My app crashes at least once while tracking activity since update. Have to watch closely for crash since you have to resume activity after crash. Anyone else having this problem?

Welcome to the Fitbit Forums @10Knee! Does rebooting your iOS device help? Also, what type of iOS device do you use and what iOS version is it running (ie iOS 9.3, iOS 8, etc)?

Mine iphone app has also lost connection twice this week while tracking an activity. Frustrating to lose a hunk of data.

A new version of the Fitbit App was released on June the 6th @SunsetRunner. If you haven't gotten it yet, I recommend updating it to the most recent version by following @MarreFitbit's instructions in this post. Get it and give it a try.

My app crashes at around a mile and a half every single time I walk, and if I walk over 3 miles it will crash twice.  prior to walk, I turn off all other apps, reboot the phone - to no avail.  I have updated the phone, removed and reinstalled Fitbit app, and sent screenshots to Fitbit.  They say they are working on it but apparently they have been working on it since October since I'm seeing the same complaints then.  I have the HR and I love it otherwise, but this is so frustrating!

Mines crashes less than half mile at times. Never know when it will crash.

Mine has crashed two days in a row, the first luckily near the end of my walk. But the second it was .74 into a 3 mile walk. Love this tracking option but the crashing is terrible.

Having the exact same issue. IPhone 6, latest app. Started after the last update. Very frustrating. Get about 1.7 to 2.3 miles before crash. Had happened at least 5 times now.

My app crashes often, usually around the 3 mile mark of a run. Looking at the forums, there are a couple of other threads on similar issues. Is anything being done to investigate this issue? I've been forced to use another running app due to this constant issue.

@10Knee @LellaS @SunsetRunner @Jdmcb66 @rmsutherland It's great to see that you've visited the Fitbit Community! I recommend updating the Fitbit iOS app to its latest version 2.25 released on 07/20/2016 (check @MarreFitbit's steps on that post). That should work properly.

Thanks for the response, a month + too late. Due to the lack of a response and a fix for the issue, I have moved on and am enjoying using a fitness app that works without crashing.
