I don't know how long this has been going on, but for at least the last several days when I open the app in the morning, I see yesterday's data in "Today". When I sync, it changes the view to "Yesterday" and I can tap either the calendar icon or the arrow to get to "Today". I would have expected a sync to change the view to "Today". Force-quitting the app and re-opening shows today's data.
I'm on iOS app v4.06 (which I have had for about a week, despite the forum thread announcing it yesterday).
This feels like a bug, but I wouldn't be surprised to find they did that on purpose. Is this happening to anyone else?

@mikey_pdx I am seeing the same thing and it seems to be a bug with v4.06. I tap the back arrow to go back a day, then the forward arrow until I get the correct data. I don't force quit.
I'm flagging a moderator to file a bug report.

I’ve also had this issue since installing v4.04 in mid Nov but when I raised it on the community chat at the time there weren’t many others seeing it. Mine occasionally impacts the sleep information. I tried a delete and reinstall of the app as @LZeeW suggested at the time, it was ok for a day but since then it still randomly occurs. I haven’t updated to v4.06. I also sometimes randomly get an issue with the new ‘dashboard’ showing that all health metrics are in personal range but when you drill down to the next level the data you see is different than what the dashboard says.

Same here since the update to v4.06 a few days ago. I wish they would just leave things alone. Every time they do an update they screw something else up!

This chain started this week. It did not start happening when I first installed version 4.06. I don’t want to see past data first thing in the morning and I do not want to have to use a forced workaround in order to get today’s information. The synchronized button on the home screen does not work reliably. Pull to refresh has not worked to update the screen clicking on previous day and then on today I found is the easiest way to get the screen to update. Whether this change is intentional or accidental. It would’ve been nice to have received a notification of the change from Fitbit software developers.

Yesterday I opened the app & it showed today’s data! I thought great, they fixed it.
not so fast, this morning it’s back to showing yesterday’s data when I open app. So I toggled back & forth to get to today’s data. But now there’s an added problem, every time I pull down to refresh app my sleep data reverts back to yesterday’s sleep data. This is so frustrating & unacceptable. Fitbit used to be a superior fitness app but since Google took over it has gone downhill big time!!!

@LizzyFitbit Hi.
Iphone SE 2020 on iOS 16.6
FitBit App 4.04 (not the latest 4.06) using a Sense 2 on software 184.52
This affects the sleep duration and score information located on the initial dashboard page of the App. But when you click on that section the page beneath shows the current days’ information. It is intermittent for me and can sometimes change more than once during the day or go without days seeing the issue appear.
First mentioned with screenshots in this post in mid November:

I have an iPhone 13 , iOS 17.1.2. As you can see when I opened app this
morning it says today but it is yesterday’s stats. Even all the tiles show
yesterday’s stats. I have to toggle back arrow and then toggle the forward
arrow to get today’s stats.

@LizzyFitbit I have an iPhone 13, running iOS 17.1.2. My Fitbit app is version 4.06. All of the tiles are yesterday's data. I can't include a screenshot, because I already fixed today's stats.
My husband has the same phone, OS, and app version. And the same issue.

YES!! Same. Every day, the first thing I do is synch my phone to my sense and it shows yesterday’s info. But also are you finding you have to synch 10 or more times per day to make it work properly. I’m on the verge of switching to Apple. But I’ve been a faithful Fitbit user for so many years, despite having an iPhone as I love that the charge holds so long and Apple pretty much has to be charged daily. But the frustration of how things are operating these days may force me in to it.

This is how mine looks every day too! Says “today” but it is yesterday’s info.

Hi everyone!
Thanks for getting back to me with the requested information. I understand how important it is to be able to check your recent data at a glance, and I'm sorry for the frustration this has caused.
In the meantime, as @LZeeW suggested, please tap the back arrow to go back and then go back to check today's data.
I appreciate your feedback and rest assured that I'll keep you posted with new information as soon as I have it on hand.

FYI: clicking on the previous day and then returning to today has not always been effective for me. Pulte, refresh, and the synchronized button on the home screen have proven themselves to be totaled useless.
I find I am going be between the previous day and next day buttons and if that does not work, I click on application/devices in the upper left-hand corner, then click on my tracker and then tap on the synchronize now button. I dictated this on my iPhone, and I hope you will be able to understand my ramblings.

iPhone 13 Pro here, was running iOS 17.1.2 and v4.06 of the app when I reported this. I only noticed it for the focus goals and Exercise tile, but those were the only things I looked at, at the time.
I recently upgraded the phone to iOS 17.2 and didn't see the issue today. I'll check again tomorrow morning.
