Lately, at least once a day or more, when I open my Fitbit on my iPhone it makes me sign in (email and password). I never had to do that before. Does anyone know why that changed or how I can go back to not having to sign in so often.

Yeah, I am having the same problem v2.411 (723)... I keep the app loaded in the background and when I make it active again it will go through the motions of syncing (progress bar moves across as usual) but the data does not update in the app. I can even pull down and watch it sync several times.
If I kill the app and re-launch it, it asks to log in... once this is done everything syncs correctly.

Fast forward to 2019. If I have my app in the background it will not come forward until I sign in again. IOS 13.1.2 on iPhone 7. This just started a couple days ago out of the blue. Anyone have a reason why? It’s annoying.

Hi @crowefan, @NedFlanders and @Geo4. It's great to see you in the Community! I'm sorry for the delay.
Thanks for taking the time to report this situation. This shouldn't be happening and appreciate the steps that you've tried on your own. Just to confirm, do you remember if this happened after updating to iOS 13? Or was it after updating the Fitbit app. These details will help me to further investigate.
In the meantime, I'd recommend the following steps:
- Make sure the Fitbit app is updated.
- Force quit the Fitbit app.
- Reboot your phone.
- Open the Fitbit app and log back in.
Once that is done, please monitor the Fitbit app and keep me posted about the outcome.
See you around!
