I got a new iPhone 8 today and the app isn’t working correctly. I could sign in okay at first but the steps and Heart rate would not register on the app. I signed out and tried to sign back in to see if it would make a difference but I get the loading circle and a pop-up comes up saying ‘Oops, something went wrong. Please try again. The request timed out’.

After recharging my Fitbit, the app started working correctly and my Fitbit was syncing correctly. So I don’t know what happened. At least it’s working now!

Hello @allykay307, thanks for joining the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board!
I appreciate you have brought this to my attention and for letting me know you have already tried some troubleshooting steps. At this moment I would like to ask you to update the Fitbit app if you haven't yet. If the app is fully updated, please restart your phone and try to log in again. If you're still getting the same error message, please reply to me with a screenshot of the error so I can check this further.
Thanks for your patience and understanding, give it a try and let me know the outcome!
