I installed the update, but my app still glitches! It will be in the middle of syncing when it quits suddenly. Or when I’m logging something I ate the app will freeze. Also, it continuously tells my it can’t do a detailed sleep log for me. I’ve worn my tracker in different ways but there’s always a problem. This is very frustrating.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention. Have you been able to sync your tracker and log your food without the app freezing or closing lately? If not, my best recommendation would be uninstalling the app, then restart your phone and install the app back.
Now, when it comes to your sleep logs, the Fitbit app currently has in-app error notifications that provide an explanation for why you aren't receiving Sleep Stages on any given night. This is meant to provide insight into what might be occurring to cause this.The error messages are the following:
When you tap on Learn more, you will be able to get more information about why your tracker didn't record sleep stages. Additionally, I'd like to suggest the following:
