App on phone not showing my steps

My Fitbit app on my phone will not show steps instead it shows daily calories and I’m unable to change it to show steps so for the past 8 days I have no record of my steps. Have rebooted Fitbit a few times but this has not fixed situation.  Any suggestions?

Meanwhile, you can confirm if your device is paired to your Fitbit account by doing the following:

 

  1. Open the Fitbit app, tap the Today tab, and tap your profile picture.
  2. If you don't see any device paired, tap Set Up a Device.
  3. Choose your device and follow the on-screen instructions to continue.
