Upgraded to later iPhone. Installed Fitbit app on new phone. Could not log on to phone. Online on MacBook worked just fine. I was using characters other than letters and numbers in my password. When I changed my password on my computer to all letters and numbers, I was then able to log on to my phone. Hope this might help someone else.

Hello @Ok_swim_bike and welcome to the Help forum. How very odd! This is especially odd since Fitbit's own Help article recommends special characters for better password security.
This is the first post like this I have read. What is your new model? What OS do you have?

Take a look at the Fitbit help site for further assistance and information.

@Ok_swim_bike I am going to flag this post to get a moderator's comment. From time to time, I see posts involving the newest model phones. This isn't the case with your phone. I hope there is an answer out there.

@Ok_swim_bike Welcome to the Community. @LZeeW Thanks for the heads up.
@Ok_swim_bike Thanks for the detailed information and for your efforts while working on this. I agree with @LZeeW, as you can include both alphanumeric and special characters when creating a password for your Fitbit account. Because your iPhone XR is a compatible device, let me recommend resetting your password on the Fitbit app to include special characters. Then log out from your account, force quit the Fitbit app, reboot your phone, open the Fitbit app and try logging back using your new password. If it works, log into the website or on other devices to update your credentials.
