App won’t open

My Fitbit app was working fine earlier and now has frozen and just won’t open.

Hello @Brid13 

Hopefully I can help. Just swipe the Fitbit App up to force shut the app if you can. Now turn off your phone for 1-2 mins then turn your phone back on. Now try getting back on the Fitbit App.

How can I shut the app when it won’t open? I’ve tried removing the app and
reinstalling and shutting down my phone. It was working fine earlier
today.

I can’t swipe to shut it as it doesn’t appear to be open. When I try to open it, it goes white for a second and then brings me back to home screen. I’ve turned off my phone after deleting it and reinstalled it but no joy. Thanks for trying to help.

It was working all along and earlier today. Why would it stop being compatible now?

Sometimes if your using a mobile device that’s not in the Fitbit compatibility list ( I’ve seen and read here on this forum) that sometimes you can get things to work but it doesn’t promise it will work all the time. Or something will work while other things won’t. Does that make sense? is your mobile device currently either 

  • Apple iOS 13.4 or higher
  • Android 10 or higher
