Apple App Store: Search results for "Fitbit" returns "FitJet" and "FitDay" both of which are pay apps.  My old laptop was Windows, my new laptop is a MacBook Pro

Are you searching on an iPad? Because the app is an iPhone app, you need to adjust your search for apps available for the iPhone rather than the iPad. Here's the link for the app:

https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/fitbit/id462638897

Or, if you are looking for Fitbit Connect for your computer, start here:https://www.fitbit.com/setup

Let me know if this works for you.

I’ll be interested to follow this thread. I deleted the Fitbit app the other day trying to sort started me issues out and when I went back to Apple store the Fitbit app was no longer there. I did manage to find the app in my iCloud though and reinstalled it from there.

Thank you. I'm back on track with my Fitbit.

I cannot find the app.  I am looking to install it on my Mac so I can sync using Bluetooth and every link I select takes me to a page that says I must be in the app store to get the app.  When I open the app store directly from my laptop, I cannot find a fitbit app.

What an interesting situation. I use the Fitbit app on my iPhone. I just searched the App Store on my iPad, but got no results. I searched for it on my iPhone and found it there. I selected Share the App and sent it to myself via email. The results are below. They are just about identical to @janel‘s posting. If you follow the link, please let us know what happens.

Hello @SueB84, thanks for joining the conversation, it's great to have you on board. It's nice to see you too @SunsetRunner, thanks for all your help. Smiley Happy

@SueB84, I appreciate your participation in the Forums and for sharing your experience with us. Please note that for Mac computers you will need to download and install Fitbit Connect and not the Fitbit app. If you're having trouble finding it, you can follow this link: Fitbit Set Up to download it.

I hope this can be helpful, if there's anything else I can do for you in relation to the Fitbit app for iOS devices, please feel free to reply.
