I have a new iPhone 13 and couldn’t get my fb4 to keep connected to bt so after trying EVERYTHING multiple times I bought an fb 5. SAME problem!!!!! Why won’t it stay connected. I’m just about pulling my hair out and considering other brands of watch in future if I can’t get this sorted.

You say that it doesn't stay connected. Is the app telling you to connect?

In the phones BY my tracker never shows connected.

Hi. No the app is telling me nothing. I get a message or phone call but no alert on my watch. When I look at blue tooth connections that’s where it says not connected. I reconnect and it’s ok for a while but it keeps dropping off. Very frustrating.
In the forum it seems that many others are having the same problem. What is the solution please?

A user will not be able to connect the tracker through the phones Bluetooth. The fitbit app is responsible for this pairing and connection

So why have I not had a problem with the multiple fitbits I’ve previously owned? I’ve paired numerous times. I’ve done everything I could. The only thing that works is to continually connect through Bluetooth.
Do you have any answers please?

My new iPhone 13, shows Bluetooth connection all the time. So should yours. I’d check the iOS and app are both up to date reboot the phone then connect the fitbit to the charger start charging, reset the device press the button, feel the vibration wait for the smiley face. Last reconnect to BT.

Thanks. I will try that again. I’ve done it all. I think I may end up calling Fitbit.
