@SOlewine If you are an iPhone user, this is a known issue with the current iOS app. Fitbit is aware. You need to force quit the app, then re-open it.

@ibaines the relevance is to pin down the source of this issue.
Your tracker syncs with your fitbit cloud account. Then your aoo syncs with your fit it cloud scccount.
The website gets its days from the fitbit cloud account.

This issue is widespread (both my kids Ace 2 having same issue) and we just need to wait for the next update. You can sync/reset/reboot/reinstall/post/etc about the issue, it will continue to bother you 🙂

Everybody is saying there app, but no one has mentioned what type of device the app is on. Android, ios or android? Or is it on every type. I havehandtoid and haven't experienced this. What board does this tyreadhbelong in. The question has nothing to do with the charge 4 hardware, and it is frustrating no knowing what operating systems are affected.

If you had actually read my post, you would find I was very very clear about that.

Hi everyone.
I appreciate your continued feedback and efforts while working on this matter. I understand how important it's to have your details updated on the Fitbit app and I'm sorry for this inconvenience. While our team is still working on this situation, I'd recommend the suggestions shared in my previous post. As mentioned before, the battery percentage displayed on your Fitbit device should always be accurate.
Thanks again for your patience and I'll keep updating this thread as soon as I have more details.

thanks Lizzy,
For now, I've updated my clock face to one that shows current battery level which is always correct. I also found that if I shut my phone down and then restart it (12 pro max) the battery information is correct.
Hopefully we’ll have a real fix soon.

I initiated the post but this system is new to me. I do not see an option to reply all. You apparently can do so however. So...
The best work around that I have found is (for an iPhone) to quit the App by looking at the App, close it and then swipe up and force close the App. When you access the App again, it will show the proper battery level at that moment and only at that moment. This is a much better solution than rebooting the phone which takes a lot longer, requires logging back into the phone, etc. You might consider publicizing this so as to take some pressure off...
Best regards,
Max

I believe most of us here are on iOS, please raise your hands if you are on Android and are experiencing same issue. Yes, (most likely) it has nothing to do with hardware, so I am waiting for the next update to fix this issue.

I noticed this same problem with my Verda 2 and discovered myself that it took a manual app reboot seemed to resolve a correct battery reading on the app. I note the problem emerged after I up-dated my iPhone to IOS15. Also, about the same time I failed to record sleep score (& SPo2) results for the majority of nights. I wonder if the introduction of IOS15 is the cause of our problems. I have always kept the phone app up-dated. Could it be that the latest app has only been tested with Versa 3 and not with the legacy versions. I’ve only seen the app synch problem with sleep & battery, not noticed (yet) with steps etc. I think I used to see an option to auto switch auto-synch on/off in the app settings. In the latest app version installed on my phone I can only choose ‘synch now. If Fitbit believe daily rebooting is an acceptable solution to making their app compatible with IOS15 for Versa 2 users, then they’ve finally lost me as a long term advocate of their products.

Hi Ian - am still on IOS 14 so the problem is not related to IOS 15. I'm not having a problem with sleep tracking, only the battery reading. For me it's not a big deal as I've changed to a watch face which shows the correct battery level. So an annoyance but if the sleep tracking were to become a problem I'd be a VERY unhappy customer!

Thanks, that answered my question, although doesn't solve the problem...

I have exactly the same problem. My Fitbit is 82% but the app is showing 59%.

Updated to Fitbit app iOS version 3.53 released 2 days ago.
1. after app updated, sync to tracker, correct battery level
2. waited few minutes for tracker's battery level to drop, sync to tracker, WRONG battery level
3. forced close app, re-open and sync to tracker, remain WRONG battery level
4. reboot tracker, sync to tracker, correct battery level
5. waited few minutes for tracker's battery level to drop, sync to tracker, WRONG battery level
Latest update doesn't seem to fix the issue.

I have noticed this with my Versa3. When I def down on the app to sync, it shows that my battery percentage is more off by about two points. For instance, the app could say 48 and my Versa3 could say 46. I have been using my watch as the indicator for when to charge it. Sorry for the problem. You’re not alone.

I can confirm after that after the latest update to the App to 3.53, I still get exactly the same behaviour. This like many recent updates has made no difference.
------------
I should have mentioned this is on the latest IOS 15.3 as well.
