I am having the same problem. I just noticed it about a month ago. It’s puzzled me. I just synced it several times, turned Bluetooth off and on to reconnect and still couldn’t get the battery level display to sync.
Glad I’m not the only one experiencing this. Looks like Fitbit needs to look into this and issue a fix.
This doesn’t work. I have manually synced repeatedly and no change in battery level
Hi Lizzy - My battery seems to be synching {with iPhone 12Pro} this morning. Tried it before and after my swim and it worked both times.
Best AnswerLizzy - It me again. - I forgot to ask you. How do I "reply all" to everyone with this battery sync issue?
Best AnswerI’m very happy for you. My Charge 5 is still not syncing with my IPhone XR. It’s been almost 2 months since it worked. The only way to see the correct battery level for me is to turn my Bluetooth off & then back on.
Best AnswerI think when Fitbit resolves this issue (if they do), we’ll all see an application update come out. Since Apple and Fitbit compete in the same market space, there’s little incentive to resolve the issue.
My Versa2 and iPhone 8 will sometimes sync the battery level, but it’s rare (maybe 1 out of 20 times. Just blind luck.
I’m retired now, but I ran an IT development team here in Houston for many years. If the Fitbit IT Leaders were smart, they would simply remove the battery indicator in their Application until they have time to develop and test a fix. Interfacing an application with multiple device competing interfaces is not always easy depending on the API that they have from Apple.
Glad it’s being worked on. The reason it’s so important is because you can’t really see the battery percentage on charge 5 fitbit because it’s ridiculously small. That’s been a complaint on this site also…a lot. Would like that fixed too please.
My phone is still not syncing. I can reboot the phone and it will match the battery at that moment but given time, the Fitbit battery level will decline and the level stays the same on the phone.
Best AnswerMine is a new Charge 4 on 2 versions old firmware, same issues as reported here + unable to update firmware. I may just return as faulty to be honest, unless it gets resolved in a day or two. Amazon returns are so easy.
Any updates? I still having this issue, and like being able to see the battery level when I sync my Sense.

The battery icon that appears when you pull down to sync my Charge 3 has stopped responding, and shows 66% whatever the actual charge level. Any suggestions?

Best AnswerHello @RHHB and welcome to the Community forum. I suspect you are an iPhone user, as this is a known current bug in the iOS app. The correct charge level will appear if you force quit the app, then reopen it.

Take a look at the Fitbit help site for further assistance and information.
Thanks very much… I am indeed an iPhone user, and your suggestion seems to have worked fine, so fingers crossed that the solution is permanent! It’s just odd that I started getting this problem after about two years with the Charge 3.
