Hello all I have notice that my Fitbit reports example 16% battery life and the app shows 20% battery life. I have done all the restarts reboots delete and reinstall of the app and software. I’m in the latest iOS app and latest firmware on Fitbit anyone else have this problem

Yip, I upgraded to 15.3.1 from 15.3 but works regardless.

Glad it resolved your issue though. These are very weird and must somehow be related to phone app settings?  But we will never know?

Worked last night and now it’s off by 5%. Closing and reopening the app on iPhone works for the first sync then never updates.

Hi,
The fix for this issue is in the Apple “App” store under Fitbit App.

I don’t believe the iPhone version or Apple OS was at play for fixing the battery indicator bug shown in Fitbit Application.

Sorry for misstating that it was in the Apple Store. Worked in IT for over 20 years and still can’t keep these two straight sometimes.

Happy Valentines everyone,
Bill

I checked, no updates for my Fitbit app in the apple App Store and the battery is not updating

Note that when I went to the app store I saw no update available either.

Then I clicked on OPEN and it said Update available.

So maybe just try this as I would have thought it would have notified both on the phone app and app store but it did not, I just found it by mistake.

Hi Allen,
These type of systems have so many Variables that trouble shooting can be challenging.

The battery indicator fix appears to be in Version “3.54” for the Fitbit app.

To check your installed Fitbit app version on your iPhone:
Go to Account
Help & Support
At top of the page you’ll see your installed application version.

If you have 3.54 installed, then there’s another Fly in the ornament at play here.

I tried twice on my phone and no app update, I just tried my wives 8+ and she did have an update for 3.54 and it did fix it on hers. Mine is is one version behind, they must be rolling out the 3.54 update. I will try again tonight.

Thanks Bill!

iOS 15.3.1 and Fitbit app 3.54 (1098).  I believe it was the Fitbit update that solved the problem not the iOS update.

I was having the same problem, but it appears that a hard reboot of the phone (iPhone 7, iOS 15.3.1) fixed it. For now at least!

Mine seems to be working. I have to swipe down to force a sync but I think
that is as it always was. --

That's correct, it now seems the latest Fitbit  App 3.54 (1098) update has resolved the problem. 😎

Thanks for the “additional advice” my battery wasn’t in fact 20% however as I stated in my post. So if you read it properly you would see

But your battery was at one point at 20% power or else you could not have gotten the screen shot that you posted, so the "additional advice" was indeed relevant.  If you read it properly you would see.
