I had the same issue, updated my iPhone to 15.3, rebooted both devices now it’s working

Sorry , just checked again before posting abd it’s stopped at %95. B****y thing.

Come on staff what’s next?

I have the same issues as @ibaines

iPhone 13 running 15.3, version 100.43 in the Charge 4 and app version 3.53.

Multiple app reboots and device reboots, still not keeping up to date. It’s rare I check on the device as aging eyes make it easier to read on the app. I dislike running out of battery just because the app can’t update itself properly.

If I’d noticed this in the first week the device would have been returned as not fully working 🙄

Lizzy, for no reason I can figure out, my app is now reporting the correct battery level. I've not updated my versa, nor my app, nor my iPhone. Do you have any idea why? (no plan to look a gift horse in the mouth though!!!)

The battery % only changes after syncing if a close Fitbit app and turn on.

Welcome to the Fitbit community.

Can you clarify the issue. Is the battery percentage not updating on your watch or in the app?

The app (Today) page

Hours later, I synched my iPhone FitBit app and it still showed 98%. So I logged off and logged back on and re-synched and it now shows 97%. Forgetting the device, logging off the app, deleting the app and reinstalling the device and the app DID ABSOLUTELY nothing.

Is everything else (steps, heart rate, etc) syncing? Try removing the Sense and adding it again. You won't lose any data.

I have the same experience and have done independently the same things you tried with same results. Will call support today for a replacement.

Thank you for confirming what you did to synch Inspire 2. There has to be a software update / development required to resolve this issue. I suppose since you and I are the only one talking about this problem, it might be easier and cheaper to replace our Inspire 2 than to address what I believe is a software impasse.

My Charge 5 is not matching battery charge when synced with Fitbit app on iPhone 11. My Charge 5 was only a week old; I synced the Fitbit with iPhone before I went on a 40 mile bike ride. The Fitbit app said the Charge was at 80% battery. My charge 5 died on the bike ride and was not recoverable. My new Charge 5 should arrive this week. There seems to be a glitch in the program that is not syncing the battery charge correctly between the Charge 5 and the Fitbit app on the iPhone 11.

Same to me, I have to keep syncing with the app to update the battery status.

Hi

does anyone know how to sort this issue? My Versa 2 won’t update the battery level properly on the app. It says 20% but the other two screens show “full”. I know it’s more towards full than 20% as only charged it yesterday but it doesn’t seem to update at all. As the clock face I have (the original) doesn’t show the battery level I would like to fix this.

thanks

@SunsetRunner   This is a known bug in the iOS app.  You will see the correct battery charge if you force quit the app, then re-open it.  But you must do this each time.  Your battery charge is at the very top of your Today stats when you swipe up.  No battery charge clock face required.  Here is some additional advice.  Your screenshot shows 20% battery.  Letting your battery go lower than that is called a deep discharge.  Repeated deep discharges decrease battery life.  I read recommendations that 20-25% is the lowest you should go for battery life.

When I charge the Versa, it shows what I assume are correct battery levels.  but when I sync to iPhone, the iPhone gives a different battery level.  They were matching numberers until recently.  How to fix?

@Pearlsmama   There is a bug in the iOS app.  You will see the correct charge percentage if you force quit the app, then re-open it, but you need to do it every time you want to check it on the app.  You don't say which Versa model you use, but the correct battery percentage is on the Versa itself.  It is in different places on different models.  I wear a Versa 3 and see mine when I swipe to the right.

After going through customer support on the phone yesterday, they had me plug into charger (I was at 82%), turn off heart rate, reboot device, turn heart rate back on, reboot device again. I left it on the charger to 100%. About 15 minutes later I opened the app and did a sync where the app showed my charge at 82%, not 97% which was the charge displayed on the device. Francisco advised me to continue using device for 3-5 more days to see if that fixes the problem. This morning I had only the simplified sleep report, not the sleep stages, etc. I told Francisco that I want a new unit if the problem is not resolved. My last try tomorrow will be to remove the device from the app, reset back to factory, uninstall the app from my iPhone 12 Pro, reinstall the app and reinstall the device as though new. Then we’ll see if it returns to working correctly. If not, I think I have done due diligence in troubleshooting the issue myself and will expect a new unit as it has failed in my opinion.
