The last time I put my Charge 4 on the charger (I connect to a wall-based outlet), I couldn't get my iPhone-based app to show me the progress...it just stayed at 43%.  When I went to take it off, I tapped the screen to look for the smiley-face (fully charged), and my tracker smiled, at me, so took it off. That was Monday, and it's now Saturday, so I checked my phone app for the charge left. It shows 73%.  But, I swiped up on my tracker, and it shows 54%.  I've had my Charge 4 for 13 months now; is it an early sign of troubles ahead?

Hello @SJinTX your app will only know the battery app at the time of the last sync.

So let's open the app and check when the last sync was.

Same issue with my Versa 3 and IPhone.  App and watch seem to sync fine.  Just does not update battery status.  As in your case, just began experiencing this issue.  On another note, I had one occasion where my active minutes logged short of workout time. HRM logged twice as many minutes.  Next day's workout seemed to track fine.

Hi @Cleancars  - thanks for confirming the issue, as it is obviously related to a particular Fitbit App version it would be good to post the version you are currently using.

@johnsonw74 - thanks, it seems that is the most recent version currently on iOS and probably is a bug, as others are reporting the battery level issue also.

This will help others on the forum, thanks.

I too have this issue  with iPhone 12 Pro and Inspire 2.  I've deleted the app, reinstalled - I've turned blue tooth on and on off, removed the Inspire 2 device from Blue tooth, logged off and on of the app - restated the iPhone, reset the inspire 2,  Ii have the latest versions of the iOS and Inspire Firmware.  I've tried all of the above in various combinations - all only provide an immediate temporary fix - {one time fix}. - After any of the temp fixes the next sync shows different battery % levels -

Not sure exactly when this started - just found it odd that after charging the Inspire a 3 - 4 days ago - the app showed 92% - the inspire showed mid 60s%

As far as I can tell everything seems to sync okay - Pretty sure it's a Fitbit bug ?

All was well until a week ago.  Now the Charge 5 battery life (X%) is not updating on the iPhone.  The Charge 5 screen shows the proper battery life.  I can reboot the iPhone and the correct battery life shows on the iPhone but then the battery life does not change unless I reboot the phone again.

This just started a week or so ago.  The phone and Charge 5 both are on the latest version.  Any ideas?

Seeing the battery in the Fitbit App is not a major requirement.

It is far simpler to swipe the watch face to the right to get to Quick Settings and the battery level is at the top, if it is not on the clock face or use a clock face with the battery level shown, such as SimpleClockPro [battery in green]. There must be many others in the Gallery.

Thank you.  Yes, I know about the battery level on the watch.  This is how I know the Fitbit app on my phone is logging the incorrect battery charge percentage.  From my perspective, it is all part of functionality and I prefer all of my tech to function properly.  So, in that light IMO it is a requirement.  I don't know if this will affect any email notifications regarding a low battery.

My clock faceon the watch is always showing the correct battery level.  It's the battery % on the phone app that is not syncing correctly to the watch.
