this affects me too but my phone is iphone 8.   the syncing is not reflecting the tracker accurately.   i just got my tracker 24 hours ago and restarted everything more than 1 time.   Even uninstalling the tracker.   very frustrating.

i believe my app isnt functioning like it should as far as battery status is concerned. it has stopped updating the battery status just under the notifications box and has remained at 21% even though i recharged it today.  it dies show it full in the notifications section but there  is no% there.

I've also noticed this over the past few weeks, but hadn't messed with it. I finally just logged out of the Fitbit app, force closed the app, and restarted the app and synced. The battery level matches now.

MIne was stuck showing 20% in the app regardless of the real battery level. Multiple syncs did not change it, not even a recharge to 100%.

I came here to see if others have the same problem.
Now I restarted the phone and it seems to have corrected the problem.  Unless it will now remain stuck on 80% ...

Replying to myself:   when the Versa 3 said battery is 78%, the app was still sticking to 80% even after two syncs.
Rebooted the phone, and now the app shows 78%.   I think there is definitely a bug somewhere.

Hi there, @SJinTX. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the inconvenience with your Charge 4. I understand where your concern is coming from.

Regarding the battery level on the Fitbit app, note that it updates every time you sync. That means that if your watch hasn't synced yet, your app will still show the battery percentage of the last sync.

Once you charge your watch make sure to sync and you'll see that the percentage on your Charge 4 will match with the one on your Fitbit app.

If you're running into syncing difficulties, see Why won't my Fitbit device sync?

Hope that helps.

@MarreFitbit   The battery level is not updating like you describe and as it should.  Please pass this on to the team and fix this bug.

I’m having the same problem, only with a much larger margin. My watch will be fresh off the charger, says 100%, but after syncing with the app, says 35%. It suddenly stops working in the evening and my app says it’s only at 3%.  HELP!

I'm having the same issue with my Iphone X and Charge 5.  The only way I can get the accurate battery charge level is if I turn my Bluetooth off and then back on.

It is not working the same as it used to before the last update.  It no longer shows the proper charge level until I sync it several times.  Something changed in the last update to the iPhone app.

I'm having same issue, tried all the restarts, deleted the app, reinstalled the app and it still will not update the battery level on my app. Brand new iPhone 13 that is updated and firmware on fit bit is updated but it will not update unless I restart my phone or delete the app and reinstall it. Then it stays the same.

Are there any solutions?
