False alarm - It must have been a {mine} user error - It DOES NOT sync

Jan 5 and still no solution or answer. Mine updated the battery level once when it got down low enough to 21%. I charged and synced and it still says 21% when my Inspire HR Is at 96%. I've done what everyone else has done to no effect. App still doesn't update battery level.
Maybe you can hire a high school kid to fix the app?

Been doing that. Doesn't work.

Hi everyone!
I appreciate the details provided, as well as the steps tried on your own. I apologize for this inconvenience, and please know our team is currently working to resolve it. In the meantime you can force quit the app as described here and reopen it to see the correct % within the iOS app. Rest assured that the battery percentage displayed on your Fitbit device should always be accurate.
Thanks again for your patience and please know your feedback will be passed along to our team. Once I have more details, I'll update this thread.

I have the same issue with my Charge 3 and iPhone.

I’m also having trouble with battery drain. I can have it fully charged, go to bed & wake up with 80% battery. Having to charge every other day as well.

That’s exactly what is happening with me. I thought it was because of my new phone but it seems others have the same issue.

not your phone,
I have done the force close and restarted phone but still there is a discrepancy between the Ios app and the watch. App still says 71 which is what it said last night, and it has synced. Watch says 53.

I’ve had to do this a couple times now so I think until they come up with a solution my Fitbit itself the battery will last for three or four days it just will not sync with the app occasionally so I have to remove the app and then put it back on my iPhone which is the XR. And I just did this a half hour ago.

@Louise.carbone 🙂 no one knows - I reported and documented another issue over 6 months ago - and to date - no fix

Looks like there are at least 3 ways to sync but none actually work to update the battery indicator in their application on my iPhone 8. The only thing that works is to turn off (reboot) the phone which works, but a pain.
Interestingly, this is a known bug by Fitbit but yet I chatted with their Helpdesk this week and they seem to be oblivious to this one. I’m new to Fitbit (2021 Christmas gift) so still learning how to report application bugs.
