Battery life push notification??

Is there a way to get the app to send a push notification on my phone when my Alta battery is low?? I get the emails, but I don't check my personal email often enough to catch it in time, so more times than not, I'm left with a dead fitbit and I don't know it for a while. Email seems pretty inefficient to me and I feel like with technology these days a quick push notification on the app telling me my battery life is low or that Ineed to charge my Alta is pretty simple, and I'm honestly surprised it's not a feature on the app already. I've searched forums with no luck getting a straight answer. I'm pretty sure I can't be the only one who doesn't check their email constantly all the time anymore, but I always have my phone with me and would see the notification. Even the fitbit itself buzzing or something to tell me it needs to charge would be helpful. Please help!

Hello @racheld3054, thanks for joining the Community!

It's possible to receive these kind of notification, simply go to the Notifications settings on your online Dashboard. Make sure the Mobile box is checked under Low Battery.

If it's checked, uncheck it and Save, then check it once again and save the settings. Additionally, on your phone go to Settings > Notifications > Fitbit and make sure Allow Notifications, Show in Notification Center and Show on Lock Screen are all enabled. Remember to sync your tracker regularly so the app can detect the level of battery it currently has.

Give it a try and keep me posted! Smiley Wink
