I have set a schedule for sleep on the iOS app & my wake alarm goes off but I don't get a bedtime reminder. Anyone else find this?

@Akshatha @Mandytav If you turn on the bedtime reminder, you should receive a reminder in the form of a push notification on the mobile device that your tracker is paired to. Click here for more information.

Hope this helps!

Same for me. The bedtime reminder is turned on, but I don't get the actual reminders and was not able to figure it out so far.

I did the same thing and nothing.  Thought I did something wrong.  Was so excited about sleep module. I need the reminder or will get caught up in something that will keep me up.

@kdiddygreen @JurgaB @TraceFit I would recommend checking in your iOS settings that you've allowed notifications for the Fitbit App in your iOS settings.

You can check this by opening your iOS settings > scroll down until you see the Fitbt App and click on it > and then make sure that you've enabled notifications.

Hope this helps you all out!

My Notifications for Fitbit App were all turned on. It appears that the bedtime reminder is only on the phone, but no vibration or any reminder available on the fitbit band.  To solve this issue, I just set a silent alarm for my bedtime.

The problem I'm running into is that my bedtime reminder keeps turning itself off.  What I mean by this is that I set a bedtime reminder for 8pm every day of the week, and then around 8:15pm I realize that I haven't gotten a push notification on my phone to remind me to get ready for bed.  Then I go back into the fitbit app and bedtime reminders are set to off.  This has happened to me 10-15 times, over the past 2-3 weeks.  Has anyone else experienced this problem?

I ended up setting a second alarm for 9:30 p.m. to remind me to stop playing games or working and get ready to go to bed.

The bedtime reminder in the app seems not to work, so I am hopeful that setting a second alarm for the evening will.

I am having the same issue. I get the push notification but not a reminder on the fitbit ChargeHR itself. Is it supposed to alert me on the fitbit or is the only way around this setting a silent alarm for my bedtime that repeats daily?

Helly @Pauli27 and welcome!, it's a pleasure to me to greet new members! Smiley Happy

The reminder is only coming through as a push notification on your phone, it does not come as a vibrating reminder on your tracker, I'm very sorry for the confusion and misunderstanding. Setting up an alarm is a great workaround but I also would like to encourage you to submit your insight as a suggested idea so members of the Community can vote for it and add their comment; this is truly the best way to make your voice heard.

Hope this information had been useful, keep me posted in case you need anything else.

Thanks Marco! I posted it as a suggested idea. Hopefully others vote for it. In the mean time, the silent alarm will have to do. Smiley Happy

I wanted the bedtime reminder on my Fitbit device. Otherwise, what is the point of syncing a bedtime reminder with a fitbit if it's just showing up on my phone? I don't need a Fitbit to get a reminder on my phone...

Is there a way to make the sleep reminder go to the actual device instead of my phone? It seems like the whole point is that the Fitbit is usually with you. In my opinion it doesn't make sense to send the notification to your phone which may or may not be.

Yes, you can set a reminder to go to your phone and device. It took me a while to figure this out;

1 - Set bedtime reminder for whatever time you like under Sleep Goals

2 - Under Account - select your device --> select notification --> select app notifications --> make sure Fitbit app is selected or turned on (ioS device).

Now a notification and vibration will go to your phone and your device saying it's almost time for bed!

When I bought the charge 2 was giving me reminders to move and sleep reminders as a vibrating reminder and not as a push notification. I don't like having it always connected to my phone as this us consuming battery. So why after the firmware upgrade I have to enable push notifications from my phone in order to have these reminders?

Same problem here, I am not getting any on my device. @MarcoGFitbit You said it's only on your phone but in the app it says push notifications and some trackers. I have a Versa, it should be compatible.

Hello @sarah_lin8 and @steveman29, I hope you're doing well, it's nice to see you around. Smiley Happy

Thanks for bringing this to my attention. Please note that at the moment it's possible to receive the "Bedtime reminder" in your Versa by going to Account > Versa > Notifications > App Notifications and checking the Fitbit box. However, this is only available for those trackers and watches that have App Notifications such as the Blaze, Ionic and Versa. For the other trackers, you will only receive the Bedtime reminder in your phone as a push notification.

@steveman29, "reminders to move" is a feature included in your tracker only. Once you have set it up on your phone, your Charge 2 will notify you with a vibration 10 minutes before the hour if you haven't completed 250 steps during that specific hour, there's no need to have the tracker constantly linked to the phone for this feature to work.

I hope this resolves your inquiry, if there's anything else I can do for you, please feel free to reply
