Best Syncing App for Apple Watch and Fitbit

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Hi Everyone,

I'm thinking of getting an Apple Watch. However I love the Fitbit App. I'm looking for suggestions for syncing Apps that sync info from Apple Watch to the Fitbit App and vice-versa. Also hoping that there are apps that sync excersizes and GPS runs as well. I would love to hear your thoughts.

Thank you in advance.

My favorite is MyFitnessSync which I use to sync FitBit, Health, Health Dash, Argus (and it’s related apps) as well as iHealth (which my doctor sees too). I liked Power Sync, but, it had a few issues such as every couple of days I had to delete it and reinstall it as it froze plus it only automatically synced one time ever. When I upgraded from a Charge 2 to Ionic it wouldn’t sync my sleep either. So, I got MyFitnessSync and it has worked perfect.

Just reread what you wrote. My reply doesn’t help with Apple Watch as I wouldn’t ever use one anyway. For those with FitBit watches though the ones I have used are made for syncing FitBit watches to Apple Health and Apple Health Dash. I doubt there are apps for syncing Apple watches to the FitBit dashboard. Apple has it’s own things and isn’t big on helping their competitors who usually make better products anyway.

Hello,

When syncing MyFitnessSync and Fitbit on my iPhone, are the apps supposed to actually appear on my Apple Watch?

My do not and wondering if they’re supposed to.

Thanks,

Kristen

I doubt the stats would appear on your Apple Watch from the FitBit app. All the FitBit synching apps I know of are to put your stats from FitBit watches onto Apple Health and Apple Dashboard. Many apps such as Argus that I use, MyFitnessPal etc. then import the stats from Apple Health or Apple Dashboard. I doubt anything exports it to Apple Watch though. I have since left FitBit watches and use PowerWatch2 instead. FitBit's community has always had a problem with fraudsters and scammers on it. That problem only got worse (along with several other problems) when unscrupulous Google bought them. I won't use products Google owns, so, I left for a better company.
