Bightness and awake

Since updating my Versa last night I am unable to adjust the brightness and I have to tap the face to wake it up instead of turning my wrist. Not liking this. Help!

Brightness:  scroll right (swipe left) to Settings > Brightness

 

Awake:  Hold in left side button a few seconds; look for 'Screen Wake'; tap to toggle on or off.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
