Blaze not receiving notifications from iPhone X

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

This weekend my Fitbit blaze stopped receiving notifications from my iPhone X when the phone is locked. When the phone is unlocked I receive them. I am on iOS 11.1.2 and Fitbit version 8.402.1. Please fix this issue.

Hello @SunsetRunner, have a warm welcome to the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board. Smiley Happy

At this moment I would like to suggest you to update the Fitbit app if you haven't already, we have just released a new version (2.43.1 [732]). You can check your current version by going to Account > Help. Then, please follow the steps outlined on this post to reset Notifications through the Fitbit app.

I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and keep me posted in case you need anything else.

@MarcoGFitbitI am still having the same issue it only happens when the screen is locked. I have the most updated version of the app and have reset the blaze and my phone several times which has not worked either

Hello @SunsetRunner, I hope you're having a great day, thanks for taking the time to reply. It's nice to see you around too @Shep614Smiley Happy

At this moment I would like to suggest you to update the OS on your phone as a new version has come out recently. Then, go to your phone Settings > Notifications > Fitbit and make sure the following is enabled:

  • Allow Notifications
  • Show on Lock Screen
  • Show on History

I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and keep me posted in case you need anything else.

@MarcoGFitbit@Shep614Marco things are going well. Hope all is well with you. I have updated my iOS to 11.2.1 and Fitbit version 8.402.1. Notifications are turned on in the fitbit app and the setting on my iPhone X. I have reset both devices and still do not receive notifications when the screen is locked. When it is unlocked I get all notifications.
