Everyday I get this pairing issue when I first sync in the morning. I have followed the instructions, deleted app and reinstalled and still no changes.

Hello and welcome to the Fitbit Community @Mike98281

I see your having syncing issues. I understand you have tried reinstalling the Fitbit App but that has not resolved your problem. Can you tell me the type of device you are using to pair your Fitbit with. iOS model and version of your device? Also which Fitbit tracker do you have? This information will help me assist you.

😃 Please keep me posted

Hello again @Mike98281

Lets try restarting your Fitbit Ionic to see if that solves the issue. You might have to perform a restart a few times. Here’s how:

  1. For Fitbit Versa and Fitbit Ionic, press and hold the back and bottom buttons until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen. For Fitbit Versa Lite Edition and Fitbit Versa 2, hold the back button for 10 seconds.
  2. Let go of the buttons.

You might also try turning your Ionic off then on again is restarting did not resolve this. Here’s how:

On your watch, open the Settings app> About > Shutdown > confirm the shutdown.

To turn your watch back on, press the back button.

😃 please let me know if this resolves the issue. Keep me posted

Yes and no. I phoned Fitbit customer service last night and I hear there are issues with the iconic and iOS 13 that is creating notification issues along with the Bluetooth pairing message.

Hello again @Mike98281

You’re correct that currently there is a notification issue that Fitbit is aware of and working on a fix. As far as the syncing issue I have seen where it is affecting certain individuals but not everyone but yes Fitbit is aware of it as well. Although the syncing issue has been identified I’ve noticed some individuals benefited from my suggestions and have indeed started syncing again. I hope you were one of them. Are your syncing issues resolved or are you still experiencing issues?

I actually didn’t have syncing issues, it was that each time I was syncing it would tell me that I lost Bluetooth connectivity error message and then later yesterday I wasn’t seeing notifications of my phone ringing on my Fitbit.

Thanks for the help yesterday.

Hello again @Mike98281

I’m sorry I wasn’t able to resolve your notifications issue but please look here: https://community.fitbit.com/t5/iOS-App/Stopped-seeing-notifications-after-updating-to-iOS-13/td-p/3...

These steps may help with your notifications. But understand that a permanent fix has not come yet (hopefully soon) but maybe some of the tips will help you. (You might have previews showing)

I wish I could have been more help

Any update on the "lost bluetooth pairing" messages with IOS and Ionic?  My watch still syncs and sometimes I get notifications but I get the "lost bluetooth pairing" message 3-4 times a day.  A bit frustrating.

Yes I still get the same message and now I don't get notified that my phone is ringing on my FitBit. FitBit says they are aware and working on a resolution

I am also getting the "lost pairing" message many times a day when syncing. The syncing works fine, the message is bogus.  I have tried 'forgetting', resetting the watch and the phone to no avail.  Looking for a fix to be published.  iPhone 11 pro, IOS 13.3.

This bug went away with a subsequent app update but has recently been reintroduced.  Is this a release QA issue?  Will it be resolved again?  I am having to reply to this bogus message many times each day when in fact the pairing has not been lost.  Please advise.
