Sleep Timezone

My sleep tracking is showing start times of 11am, noon and later today.  It’s as if it has the wrong timezone. It was ok yesterday.

anyone else experiencing this problem?

Hi @SunsetRunner. Welcome! It's great to see a new face around.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention. It's odd that your sleep log doesn't have the right start time. If the Fitbit app and your Fitbit device are updated to the latest version, I'd recommend to verify if the time zone set in the Fitbit app:

  1. Open the Fitbit app and tap on your profile picture.
  2. Tap Advanced Settings.
  3. Under Time Zone, turn off the Set Automatically option.
  4. Tap "Time Zone" and select the correct time zone.
  5. Sync your Fitbit device to apply the changes.

Once that is done, restart your Fitbit device and wear it on your non-dominant hand to monitor its behavior. Make sure your Fitbit isn't too tight or loose on your wrist as described here.

I'll be around, keep me posted.

Timezone is set to automatic.

The time issue is early in the morning only.  When I check it after 3 pacific, it’s back to correct timezone.

On a related note, I constantly have to adjust start and stop time for most sleep.  Many times there are multiple times tracked with a gap in the middle of the night.  I usually delete one and update start time.  It recalculates but sleep rating is not updated or sometimes disappear.

Mine is showing that I'm going to bed at like 4-5pm and up and midnight. I'm pretty consistent that I go to bed around 930pm and up at 6am so not sure why I'm t is all jacked up. All updates are current, I've restarted both devices. Not sure what else to do yet.

Was looking in my app this morning and experiencing the same thing. The data online appears correctly but in app it's set 8 hours into the past.

Hi @SunsetRunner. It's great to see you again. @Lindhartsen and @Jlewi101, welcome on board. I'm sorry for my delayed response.

@SunsetRunner, thanks for verifying the time zone set in the Fitbit app. @Lindhartsen and @Jlewi101, thanks for joining this thread. I appreciate your efforts while reporting these issues and the steps tried on your own. Let me share that  recently it was released a new update for the Fitbit app, for that reason I'd suggest to double check if it has been downloaded on your end.

If you continue having issues with your sleep data showing an incorrect time, have you noticed the same issue with your exercises? May I also know your phone's model and OS version? These details will help me to further investigate.

I'll be around, keep me posted.
