Bluetooth not connecting

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I recently updated my IOS software, and now I get a message that my Charge 2 needs to connect to Bluetooth even though it is on.  I have tried everything that worked in the past - turned bluetooth on and off, updated the Fitbit software, reset the fitbit when in the charger, and nothing is working.

Any suggestions?

Hello @BecMag

Im sorry your having syncing issues. Try this:

  1. Remove the Charge 2 from the Bluetooth settings in your iPhone.
  2. Turn off other Bluetooth connections that are nearby.
  3. Force quit the Fitbit app and reboot your phone.
  4. Open the Fitbit app, tap on the profile's icon and Charge 3.
  5. Tap on sync now and wait until the process is completed.
  6. Then tap on notifications and follow the onscreen instructions to pair via Bluetooth

😃please let me know if this solves your issue

Thank you for helping. This did not resolve the issue. I also chatted with Fitbit, and after going through troubleshooting, solution was to buy a new Fitbit instead of looking at a potential issue with iOS upgrade to version 13.

I'm now working with Apple to see if the new software is the issue. I'm guessing it is since my Fitbit can synch with my iPad (which I hardly ever do).

Finally deleted the app and then reloaded.  Seems to have worked except that now my alarms are not showing up on my fitbit.

Better problem than before.

No worries just go  to your Fitbit app, tap your profile picture then scroll down and tap your Fitbit Type (located just under My Family) then scroll down and tap silent alarm. You can just reset the alarms that you want back on.

😃
