Calories Remaining Missing from App & App not Tracking Hourly Steps

Either I'm missing something, or the new app no longer shows remaining calories after I log my food consumption?  Also, the app no longer shows my 250 hourly step completion even though my Versa still shows me on the device.  Are these still in the app and I'm just missing it, or are they gone for good?

These were literally the 2 most important things to me.  If I can't see my remaining calories and 250 hourly step count in the app, I'm out.  I used to tell everyone how much I loved my fitbit.  Now I tell everyone how much I hate it.  Sad.

Hello @biscuits22

A lot of people say they can’t see it in the new Fitbit App after the update but I figured out a way you can. Here’s how:

Open your Fitbit app and tap your profile picture at upper left. Scroll down to Nutrition and Body Goals and tap that. Now look to the top of the screen...do you have a deficit set for yourself next to the word Food? If not add a deficit number (calories you want to cut each day) Just tap the first option “Help Me Set A Goal” and add your weigh goal and pick an intensity” Once your all done sync then go back to your food log on the main page and tap that and now your calories left for the day will show.

Now about your 250 hourly step completion. I can tell you how to find that as well. Go to your Fitbit App again and look for your track exercise tile in the same area where all your completed and current challenges you have ( if it’s not there tap “Discover” on the bottom left side of your screen and then tap Health and Fitness Stats and find exercise. Tap exercise and tap “Add” at the bottom of your screen. This will pop you back to the main page) Now again find your track exercise tile in the same area where all your completed and current challenges you have and tap the center of the tile (not the plus sign to the left) Now you can see you 250 hourly you wanted.

😃 Please let me know if this provides you with a solution to your question.

Your instructions appear to have solved my calorie conundrum, but my exercise was already set up.  I tried deleting and re-adding the exercise info, but it still isn't showing steps per hour.  The app is not intuitive.  I really appreciate your assistance in getting my calorie count back!  I spent 39 minutes on the phone with the fitbit service rep this afternoon, and he wasn't able to solve either problem.

Hello again @biscuits22

Im really happy your deficit issue is now resolved 😃 !

After reading and researching you 250 exercise part of your question I learned that I just assumed you meant days of exercise per week. But now understand you mean the guy that cheers if you move a certain amount per hour for a prescribed amount of time. Forgive my misunderstanding please. I miss that feature as well. It appears that that feature is no longer available as far as I can tell. I have no knowledge if it’s something that is planned to be implement again in a future update. With that said I’m happy that at least the calories deficit was indeed a solution you were looking for.
