Calories differ from watch to app

Before bed my watch said I had burned around 3200 for the day I’m 5’11” 145lbs and work construction so my days include a lot of moving. Also I had exercised when I got home and cleaned the whole house. I synced my app and it went down to 2200 calories then said I didn’t move till 1pm, I start work at 7am. What one do I believe? I feel the answer is obvious but what is the point of trying to track if I never know what is true?

Hi @Flint666. Welcome to the Community Forums.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. I understand where you're coming from about having accurate information registered in the Fitbit app and I'm sorry for this inconvenience. To work on this together, may I know the model of your Fitbit device? Do you recall since when this started to happen? Also, do you have the same issue with other stats (steps, distance, etc.)?

In the meantime, let's give a try to the following steps:

  1. Forget your Fitbit device from the Bluetooth settings.
  2. Force quit the Fitbit app and reboot your phone.
  3. Restart your Fitbit device to refresh its performance.
  4. Open the Fitbit app and pull down on the screen to force a manual sync.
  5. Wait a moment and check your details one more time.
