My Fitbit app has started to show calories only and no steps. I have Fitbit inspire 1. How can I add the steps back on? I’ve looked everywhere to find an option for it but can’t. Please help, it was bought as a step counter and if it won’t show this data then I will need to buy an alternative brand.

That could be because the link between your fitbit and your app has been lost. I suggest going through the setup process again to reconnect them. In the app, go to your profile settings by selecting your profile image on the main screen then select "set up a device".
