@Karinvh Welcome to the Fitbit family! I moved you post to the iOS Board as there are more chances for you to receive an answer to your inquiry here.

Yes, it is possible to manually log jumping rope on your dashboard. Please do the following:

  1. On the Fitbit app dashboard tap the Exercise tile to open your exercise history. This is the tile that says "Track exercise" or shows how many days you've worked out this week.
  2. Tap the stopwatch icon in the top right corner.
  3. Tap Log.
  4. Tap a recent activity or search for an exercise type (jumping rope).
  5. Adjust the activity details and tap Add.

Additionally, you can log this on the online dashboard as well on the log section. It looks like this:

Hope this helps. Let me know how it goes! Smiley Happy

Are you asking if there is a way to record an event as Jumping Rope? I do see this as an option so yes.

Wear your tracker, put it in the workout recording mode. After your done, and have synced, go to the event, press the pencil and rename it to Jumping Rope. You start typing, tyen you must tape on the name in the drop down list.Screenshot_2017-04-19-11-11-38.png

There are 20 different exercises of which 7 can be loaded on to the tracker. Skipping is not one of them @Alinewton99

In the list of excercise options you can add to your fitbit "workout" is one of them. Go into the settings on your app and add "workout" to the list of exercises on your fitbit. After you jump rope with the fitbit recording the "workout" you can go into your log on the app and rename it to "Jumping rope".

It would be good to have it as one of the quick options on the watch though.  Is there a way to notify fitbit of this?

@Etondi that is what the Feature Suggestion Board is for, and a quick search will show that it already has been suggested. Add jump/skipping rope exercise shortcut
