I recently purchased a Flex 2 and have successfully connected it to the iOS app. It is tracking my steps, calories, sleep, distance etc. However, the app is not displaying exercise. So far I have only used it for runs and walks, which are displaying in the browser dashboard, but are not showing in the app. When I click edit at the top of the app page, I can see that there is a tab for "Activity" but I cannot add it to my app homepage.
Does anyone know why the app is not showing activity despite it being tracked by the tracker and showing on my internet dashboard? I also think I need the Activity tile to be displayed in order to manually log non step-based activities (e.g. weight training or yoga) as the Flex 2 does not have a screen and only automatically recognises step-based exercises and swimming.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @RhysV. I am sorry for the delayed response.
I am sorry to hear that you're unable to add the Activity tab to your Fitbit app homepage. Thanks for trying to resolve this, I appreciate the additional details and I am here to help. I recommend doing the following:
- Tap the Discover tab > Health and Fitness Stats.
- Tap the stat you want to add, and tap Add to Today.
For more information about the Fitbit app, see How do I use the Fitbit app?
Please find more information about tracking your activity at How do I track my activity with my Fitbit device?
Let me know how it goes, I'll be around.

Hi,
Thanks for the reply. That worked and I can now see exercise on my homepage. I will check to see if it tracks my run. It looks like I still cannot track non step-based exercises but perhaps that is not a feature of the Flex 2. At least I can log them afterwards!

Hi @RhysV, thank you for your reply.
I am glad to hear that you can see your exercise on your homepage now. Thank you for your time and feedback. The SmartTrack feature on Flex 2 automatically tracks walking, running, cycling, aerobic exercises, and more. When you sync Flex 2 after a workout you’ll find your results in the exercise history section of your Fitbit dashboard. By default, SmartTrack detects continuous movement at least 15 minutes in length. You can increase or decrease the minimum duration or disable SmartTrack for one or more exercise types. For more information, please see Which activities does my Fitbit device track automatically?
If you want to record an activity that isn't detected automatically, you can manually log the exercise in the Fitbit app: How do I manually log exercises in the Fitbit app?
Happy stepping! I'll be around if you have any additional questions.
