Can't add a friend through the Fitbit app

Hi all

I’m having trouble adding my friend through the ios app. I tried logging out the app and logging back in. Tried with username and email, but the invitation doesn’t arrive. And when she does it, it doesn’t happen either. Any assistance on this?

Hi, @martijndhondt , there has been an issue lately affecting some users with adding friends in the Fitbit app.  Fitbit is aware of the issue and working on a resolution. Unfortunately there is currently no time scale for when this might be fixed.

Have you tried doing it in the reverse?  Asking your friend to try to add you?  I think this issue is not affecting everyone, so it might work if she tries instead of you.

We have tried doing it in reverse but that does not work either. We are trying to onboard our company for an group event. But i guess we will have to cancel then.
