Can’t get total miles for year on Fitbit app (iPhone)

I can see the total miles for the year on my laptop if I log into Fitbit but not on my Fitbit iPhone app. It displays a graph but just says average daily miles or steps, and I can’t get the total miles for the year to come up.

is there a way of doing this on the app?

@NoodleyBert   Once upon a time, there was no Fitbit mobile app and everything was on your computer.  You still have your web dashboard.  Your Lifetime and Best Achievement stats are on your web dashboard and they are not behind a paywall.  I'm not sure why it is still this way, but I guarantee you that it isn't behind a paywall.

I'm sorry, but your observation is correct.

The only mile detail is at the individual day recaps and the week chart. After that it's daily averages and who wants to add up 365 numbers from the day recaps when you can just go to the web dashboard.

Wow - I searchedhe help database and just went over to the Android discussion board and searched around and did a Google search for it and can't see any reference to a yearly total on the Android app. All of the images show averages on the board.

Did you actually see it? Is it possible she browsed to Fitbit.com using a browser on her phone? Can't do that with my phone, iPad yes, iPhone No - I try to log in and get an error.

I have noticed on some posts where the "today" screen is shown that some devices may have different "today" screens. Maybe that extends to including some other "things" as well.

Interesting.

Yes I did see it - she sent me a screen shot. It shows the month total of 170.05 miles and average below. I can’t seem to attach the photo though!

Don’t think photo opens but she also put a screen shot on Facebook from her app showing 2017 miles walked in 2017! I’m just peeved I can’t show this on the iPhone app 😞

For everyone still looking for a way to see your totals on your Android app - you cannot. You will not be allowed to, years later and it is still blocked. This is to force you to log on to websites and funnel you in to paying premiums to get the data stored in your tracker. Tell your friends to buy a different brand of tracker that does not hide your data behind paywalls and more account logins to track you and force your participation on their websites when you shouldn't have to.
