Hi, I cannot download the fit bit app on the iPad mini. It states it is not compatible with the device.. why is this.? I have it downloaded on another iPad mini which is the same model. Help please

Welcome to the Community Forums @Teasd! If you're not pretty sure if the iPad mini you're using in included in our list of supported device, you can see the list at: Which phones and tablets can I use with my Fitbit watch or tracker?

 

If so, follow these steps in order for the app to appear:

 

- Open the App Store and search for Fitbit.

 

iPadApp1.pngIf you notice the official app is still not showing up.

 

- Then, tap where it says "iPad Only" and select "iPhone only"

- After changing stores the Fitbit app will appear as the first result of the search.

You'll now be able to download the Fitbit app and by the way, I've moved your post to the iOS App as this topic is more related to this board.

Hi,
I’ve tried that and states not compatible, from reading posts it suggests
that the older version of the Fitbit app worked however the new one
doesn’t. Is there any way I can download the 2.81.1 version ..?

I have the same problem with my iPad mini. I used to be able to download it on my iPad mini so it is actually on my cloud. I deleted it for a while and now when I tried to add it back it says "not compatible." Mine is a mini 2. Is that the reason?
