Can’t see all text in challenges

I can only see one line of text in the challenges—the rest of the text is cut off. This is only iOS as the Apple users are having the same problem but not the Android users. I don’t see a post for this and it’s been going on for a couple of weeks. I’ve closed and opened the app, reinstalled, rebooted my phone. Is this problem being worked on?

Another update to the Fitbit app came and went without this being fixed.  The notes just say "Bug fixes and performance improvements."  I guess they don't consider this issue a bug.  It must be a feature!  🙄

My phone also got updated to iOS 13.4 which didn't change anything either.

Wow, so sad to see this months long thread is here when I hoped to find a fix for this issue. I’ll add my voice to the crowd though - please fix this ❤️ I really want to be able to see who to cheer and especially not cheer myself!

Yea, 6 months later and no updates? This seems like a prevalent problem. I’m in the software industry. This is a huge dissatisfier. It should have been fixed months ago... My family members with android devices have no issues. Multiple OS and Fitbit updates haven’t fixed this issue. What’s up?

Best Answer

It is now April 19 so about 3 months since your post and nothing has changed. I came here hoping to finally resolve the issue and just see other users as frustrated as me. True that it works on an Android. Any updates on an update????

Nothing new. I complete all the updates for Fitbit and my phone as they come out. Makes no difference. I have resigned to the fact that Fitbit simply doesn’t care.

I totally agree!  Not only am I experiencing the same issue, I am still waiting on Fitbit to fix the issue that deleted all of my personal best results.  Not sure why am am still using this product!

I reported this issue to FitBit more than a year ago.  They had me try several things including removing and re-adding my device AND removing and re-adding the mobile app.  I am on the most current versions of iOS, FitBit mobile app, and my Charge 3 software. Most of my friends in our Workweek Challenge have had and are having the same issue.  Very annoying.

I have also been reporting this for some time now. Fitbit responded early and then not again since. This should be an easy problem to fix. No repair and no replies shows that their customer service does not care. These challenges with friends is one of the main reasons I stay with this product. It looks like when I move up it will no longer be a device from this company.

Is this still on the things to fix list?

Was it ever really on the list anyway?

Ok Fitbit, where are we at with this issue. I started the original thread and I’ve had no fix. I even just bought a Versa2  !!!  But it’s still the same problem.  What’s up Fitbit ????  How long do you think you can pacify us 🩹

If you’ve ever seen this issue, please be sure to go back to the first post and click the button that says something like “I’m having this issue, too.” The HOPE is that if it gets enough votes, they’ll have to look at it. (You won’t see the button if you’ve already clicked on it. Instead it will say “xx people have reported this issue” or something similar.)

Thanks!!!

Great suggestion Rawdata!  I had not done that. I have now. Hope it helps bring attention to this really irritating problem.

FitBit has proven it does not care or have any plans on repairing this issue. No replies. No apologies.

@LizzyFitbit

We haven't heard from you or any other moderator on this topic in over 3 months!  Fitbit has released 10 new updates to their app in that time, and this still hasn't been resolved.

It seems that you're somewhat active in other threads as you posted almost 40 messages in one weekend recently.  What do we have to do to get that kind of attention?

This is ridiculous. I’m ditching my Fitbit and getting an Apple Watch.

and yea - I already have an Apple Watch. I’m mostly here for the banter with my family in the challenges. 😉   But that’s been such a bad experience for all of us, we’re thinking of just moving the banter to Facebook or something that works right... 😔
