I can’t send messages on Fitbit, I need help with this please

I’m assuming you mean private messages on the Fitbit App and not here on the community Fitbit. First make sure you are using the lasted version of the Fitbit App. If not update the app. Next I would try logging out of the Fitbit App, force shut the app by swiping the app upward. Now turn off your phone for 1-2 mins then turn your phone back on an log back into your Fitbit App as you normally would. Try sending a private message and see if that fixed the issue.

Did all of that and still won’t work, wish I could send a screenshot of it. It’s wasn’t always like this , it’s just started suddenly

It certainly wouldn’t hurt uninstalling and reinstalling the Fitbit App. You won’t lose any of your data doing that.
😉 It certainly wouldn’t hurt trying. I know you could clear the cache in an app on android but I honestly don’t know how to do that on an iOS. You could try doing that before trying the uninstall/reinstall if your familiar with how it’s done on an iOS

I don’t know how to clear cache on IOS , I tried uninstalling and installing still won’t work, been over this almost a week now, I tried everything you could ever think of , was thinking if there’s some certain settings I need to get done on the app

I starting digging around a bit @Iamcute and I found this: https://community.fitbit.com/t5/iOS-App/Can-t-reply-to-messages-from-friends/td-p/4547682 You tried the first set of troubleshooting tips that are posted there but it was noted that their Fitbit wasn’t paired and new tips were given and helped. Take a look at it and tell me what you think…Does that sound like what your experiencing?

Yes it’s the same thing I’m experiencing, I don’t have a device paired to my Fitbit account, but I’m a premium subscriber.

I apologize for the late response. I’m assuming you might use MobileTrack. But that doesn’t address the Conversation View only issue. Since the troubleshooting tips are not working it’s possible that the individual you are trying to converse with no longer appears in your friends list. Can you look at your friends list and double check if that particular person is indeed connected as a friend? Did you possibly block this individual by accident….or it’s possible this person has decided to block you. 🤷:female_sign: You can check to see if you accidentally blocked someone by following these steps:
open the Fitbit app, tap your profile picture then scroll down to an tap Social & Sharing then tap Blocked users. Is the individual you were speaking with appear here? if so you can unblock them here as well.
Again, recheck if they are indeed still on your friends list because you can’t have a private message with anyone on Fitbit unless they are on yours friends list…or the possibility that this person did indeed block you.
